To Sling or Not To Sling
That is the question. So I'm trying to get ready for this little babe and I only have a couple of items, besides clothing, that I still need to get. The one item that is on the top of my list right now is either a sling or a front pack. I'm not really sure which way to go. So, I pose the question for you...should I purchase a sling or a front pack? Please let me know what you have used, what is good and bad, and what you will continue to use with other kiddos. I have a hard time making decisions about purchases, and feel more comfortable with input from people who have actually used the items. So thanks in advance for your help!!

You will LOVE it and the baby will LOVE it! You can sling them and let them sleep or nurse in it, and then when they are older you can carry them on your hip with it.
I'm a sling person. I like the kind that you can use as they get older to carry them in front on your hip or even on your back.
You need to go to my blog and click on Brunson Family blog. It's Shane's sis and she just did a whole blog called her new best friend and it is all about her sling.
I have this thing called a moby that is a sling/wrap thing that you can use from newborn to toddler. You can wrap it in all sorts of ways and carry them on your front back etc... I have 2 and would be glad to let you have one. Give me a call.
I have both-- and my kids each had their preference-- Preston loved the sling, Rebekah loved the front pack-- I thought the sling was about a million times more comfortable to wear with a kid . . . good luck!
Never had a sling...had a front pouch and used it once or twice. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is: "I don't know." I apologize.
