Eggs, Eggs, Everywhere Eggs

While I was in Salt Lake last week Bridger was lucky enough to make it to 3 egg hunts. The first was at Baby Animal Day at the American West Heritage Center in Wellsville, Utah. This was a total bust...there must have been 75 kids and maybe enough stuff put out for 40 kids. Bridger had no idea that he was left out but I was a little disappointed that he didn't even get the joy of finding something.

Our next egg hunt was perfect!! The ideal egg hunt for any kid!! My brother is the vice-principal at Jordan Valley School and his staff put together a small egg hunt for staff members and family. There were very few kids and tons and tons of eggs. The hunt was on the school playground, so after Bridger was content with his 2 eggs he just enjoyed running around the playground and seeing all the other kids.

Bridger's last hunt was from the Easter Bunny. I thought he had had some practice the day before so he would get it...but I was wrong. I set out 5 eggs in plain sight and he had no idea what to do. Finally I had to show him the eggs and then open it up to show him the Cheerios and other treats inside. What a funny boy!

He is getting so big. I can't believe how time flys. I love the picture of him with his two eggs. One for each hand!
