One more time

Well, we're on the move again. Rusty has a new position with the BLM, as a Wildlife Biologist in the Pinedale Wyoming Field Office. This is really exciting for us because this is what he has worked so hard to get to. Plus as an added bonus this is where he did his research for his Master's degree, so he already loves the area. Pinedale is even smaller than Rawlins and probably just as remote but it is 10 times more beautiful!! The Wind River Mountains are right there so there are great views...better than the sagebrush I've been looking at for the past year. So we will be leaving Rawlins at the end of June to have another adventure. This will be the 4th move in a little less than 3 years, but there is one great thing about this move...I won't be packing!!! The government will be moving and storing our items while we try to get settled in Pinedale. Yeah!!!

So, as excited I am to be leaving Rawlins, I am a little scared about starting in a new place. Even though I have complained about Rawlins, now that it is spring here and there are finally leaves on the trees, I am realizing this is not a bad place. Oh well, that is how life usually goes, you don't realize how nice something is until you don't have it. Pinedale is beautiful and we will have great adventures and memories there too. It's just another chapter in our book.

Yay, Anne! This sounds like a great move for you family! I can see how it is bittersweet though too.

How far will you be from SLC?...closer or farther?
