Before we left the Denver area we had to make one more very important stop at Bass Pro Shop. This is one of those sacred places for Rusty...along with Sportsman's Warehouse and Cabela's. But I will admit I had a great time too! The store was massive!! I couldn't believe it!! We saw it all: hunting, fishing, boating, camping, house decorations, rock climbing, you name it they had it!! Rusty was so excited to show Bridger the humongous fish in the tanks, and I mean huge! The trout were giants and so were the bass, but the biggest of them all was the catfish, it was as big around as me...WOW!
We also had Bridger get up close and personal with a few of the animals there.
He couldn't keep his eyes off the grizzly bear!!

And he sure loved the elk! It was fun for Rusty to show Bridger what an elk looks like because he's been teaching Bridger how to make elk sounds.

Bridger looks so summery in those pictures! I can't wait to put Henry's chubby legs into shorts!
I can just picture Rusty teaching Bridger Elk sounds. That made me laugh! Oh, Rusty!
Actually, those aren't shorts...they are just pants that are a little too short for our little guy. I guess I need to do some shopping. :)
